Background & Experience
Coach Rich Mandleur is currently the Associate Head Coach at Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA. Coach Mandleur brings with him years of experience having previously coached at Bishop O’Connell and Yorktown where he was also the Associate Head Coach. He spent seven years at Thomas Jefferson as an assistant coach. In addition, Coach was with Arlington Post 139 American Legion (4 years) as assistant coach and several Fall seasons coaching the WL High School Fall team. He has coached numerous travel and rec. baseball teams in Arlington & Falls Church over the last 17 years. He is known for his attention to detail and the value he places on teaching the fundamentals of the game. In the off season he travels, coaches local teams in Hawaii, and volunteers his time with Project Béisbol in Colombia.
