A fighter for the community and baseball in Colombia, and an example for women leaders around the world. Her over five years of work with Project Beisbol culminated in co-managing the Sport for Social Change program in 2018 and the recent MLB Players Trust Good Tour benefiting hundreds of kids in Cartagena. Patricia’s incessant drive to develop her beloved baseball team, the Cartagena Mets, is overshadowed by her concern and compassion for the less fortunate in her community. Despite the Met’s limited resources, she chooses to work with Project Beisbol to channel supplies to other teams with less access to supplies.We stand behind Patricia and all women leaders in Colombia, as their humanistic and socially oriented influence is essential to the healthy evolution of baseball and softball in Latin America.
