Background & Experience
My name is María Bader, and I am a high-performance baseball and softball athlete. Throughout my athletic career, I have had the opportunity to compete in both national and international tournaments and to represent the Colombian National Softball Team, experiences that have profoundly shaped my life both on and off the field.
Sports have taught me the values that define who I am today: leadership, discipline, resilience, commitment, teamwork, and strategic thinking. Every challenge, victory, and setback has allowed me to grow as an athlete, a professional, and as a person.
I have represented sports organizations and universities both in Colombia and abroad, including academic and athletic programs in the United States, where I strengthened my athletic knowledge, leadership skills, and personal development. These experiences broadened my perspective on the transformative power of sports.
In addition to my career as an athlete, I have had the privilege of working as a coach, helping develop young baseball and softball players. My goal has always been to teach not only technical skills but also values, discipline, and a passion for the game.
Alongside my athletic career, I have built professional experience in planning, technical management, and operations administration, holding leadership roles that have strengthened my skills in organization, logistics, resource management, and strategic planning.
Today, I combine my experience as an athlete, coach, and sports administrator to support projects that create academic, athletic, and social opportunities for young people. I firmly believe in the power of sports to transform lives, and I work every day to contribute to the development of future generations.
