Round #3 in Latin America with Mason Clark , Malvern Prep grad, filmmaker, university ballplayer and PB volunteer. Last week, he was joined by friend Harry Feeney from Toronto, Canada on a 7-day whirlwind tour of Colombia. We started the trip in El Peñol, Antioquia by visiting the local rural school and softball team led by our long-term partner Softball Peñol, from there, we went to Cartagena, sharing incredible memories with our long-term partner Metropolitanos de Cartagena, afterwards we visited Tierra Bomba, the three towns and teams of the Island of Tierra Bomba have committed to uniting to form a league on the island over the next year. Thanks to all the coaches and leaders in Bocachica, Caño del Oro and Tierra Bomba who are part of this beautiful renaissance in youth baseball under the most challenging of environments. Amaury Ceren , Eriberto, Besadel, Keivin, Deudis and Tyler Fore.

Also, a Big shout out to Sugar Ray, PB Ambassador, Angela Ruiz and Elver Vivanco, PB Volunteers, and Patricia Morales, PB partner and leader of Metropolitanos de Cartagena.
We’re excited about the future of baseball and softball in the region and grateful for our local partners and the support of Alcaldia de El Peñol and Institucion Educativa Rural Palmira
These micro-exchange programs create a meaningful and lasting impact on the kids and programs we serve, as well as the international participants and visitors. Thank you Mason and Harry!
