Most Inspiring Moment with Project Béisbol: I love baseball – playing it, learning about it, and now starting to teach it. Through this sport, I’ve learned about dedication, humility, how to be a good teammate, how to accept coaching, keeping calm under pressure, leadership, self-discipline, time-management, resilience, and much more. I want to pay it forward and give other kids, whose families can’t pay for equipment, access to these opportunities. My community has a lot of families with kids who outgrow their gear or change sports, and I thought that I can help to get the equipment from families who don’t need it anymore and over to kids who can use it.

Background & Experience
I’m a sophomore at Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA. I play baseball on Yorktown’s JV team, and did last year too. I also play travel baseball with Arlington United, and previously played with Prime Time. I worked last summer at Pitch Hit Run helping kids with their pre-lesson warm-ups.
